Provides quality nutrition care by correcting and modifying regular and modified diets. Checks patient trayline for diet accuracy for both patient's prescribed diet and menu selections. Assists patient with menu selections. Processes menu tally and updates patient cardex to diet, patient food preferences, allergies. Understands the different formulary and how to send to floor. Processes nourishments and late trays. Answer phones. Reports to Dietary Manager. Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum Experience: 2 years experience in a health care setting preferred. Other: Able to calculate special diets such as low cholesterol, diabetic, soft, cardiac, renal, etc...
